Overall though, happy with the switch and I dont regret it. From what I have looked into C1 only has a slider and it makes me so sad. The weirdest thing i miss is the ability to tab toggle my edits on and off in LR. I also think C1 has a lot of room to grow with tools etc, but since they are smaller, they dont to everything as quickly. I think the major downside is the support is super slow with C1, not that Adobe is amazing. For me the color panels are a lot more intuitive. There is a lot of good youtube to help you understand it better. All 550+ camera models listed below are also compatible with Capture One for iPad, (with the exception of Phase One digital backs and camera systems) currently support is limited to IQ4 digital backs only, via Wi-Fi or ethernet cable. I would suggest saving photos as sessions over catalog. ![]() At the time, C1 was also much cheaper and not a subscription (lol). There is a way to resolve it, but I have never seen anything like that in C1. Also there were some weird ways it interpreted harsh light which gave things a purple or green edge. I hated the worming in LR and felt like LR was fine, but a little too basic. I used LR for a couple years and switched to C1. PCs really need fine tuning to suit your needs and get the most out of it. Macs work right out of the box with little adjustment. I'm a Windows user and happy to talk to you about the workflow if you'd like.LR vs Capture one is almost like mac vs pc. I found it worthwhile to do for my own uses. Today is the same, I got another version of pro the 22 one. Because C1 is so difficult to uninstall I purchased an uninstall app for 30. I keep getting the pro version even though Im on the page for the fuji download. It is a little annoying to set up the first time, but I managed to script these processes and like above, it only adds a few minutes of time before I batch import and post-process to my heart's content. For 2 days now I have been trying to download the fujifilm version. Granted, you could argue these sims might not be "accurate" considering they were made for the newer sensors, but I don't really care about that. But now I can apply any of the newer sims. The X70 is too old that I am actually "stuck" with whatever sim was used for the original image (unless I did the in-camera RAW processing one-by-one). I shoot with both an X70 and an X-E3, and doing this allows me to use any sim I'd like. OP: I use a similar workflow of "spoofing" my EXIF data to unlock film sims in Capture One Express for Fujifilm. I changed computers since then and haven't downloaded the program again, but I do plan to. The results were great, I used it for my X-T2 to get classic neg. It maybe added 1 or 2 minutes to the process for 100 photos or so, but it was definitely worth it and I didn't feel like it was that cumbersome. The program I tried you could change all of the EXIFs at once by batch. I know this isn't what you're looking for, but it's really not that difficult. I know it's a tad cumbersome, but it works. Once you export the JPEGs, you'll be able to change them back to the X-T1. If you change the EXIF of your X-T1 files to say the X-T3, before importing them into C1, you'll get access to all the film sims. ![]() If anyone knows of any other good solutions, I'd be glad to hear of them. ![]() I'm also aware that it is possible to unlock the simulations by changing the name of the camera in the photo EXIF data, but I'd rather not have to bother doing this with each and every photo I edit. I have found a link to some in a post dated 2018, though the files at this link have since been deleted. So, my question is - can anyone point me towards, or has anyone produced, any profiles that are attempts to replicate the Fuji film simulations that they would be kind enough to share with me? with Fujifilm pointing towards its 4K 60p 10-bit capture and. I am aware that the Fujifilm film simulations (which I am used to applying in C1 to photos taken with my X-E3) are not available for the X-T1 (and all other cameras older than the X-T2). The Fujifilm X-T5 is one of the best cameras ever made for people who like to take photos. I shoot raw and edit in Capture One 20 in WIndows. Specifically, it is compact and light (lighter than the x-s10, much lighter than the X-T4), has WR, dials for all three exposure parameters and a large EVF. I have just bought an X-T1, the reason being that it ticks more of my "boxes" than any of the more modern Fuji cameras.
